Dr. Shoukri and Dr. Moenssen's goal is to create beautiful smiles and properly functioning bites using state-of-the-art technology. We concentrate not only on the alignment of teeth and esthetics of the smile, but also on how the upper and lower front teeth align with each other and affect both the position of the lips and the facial profile.
Orthodontic treatment can be preventive, when adult teeth are in the process of erupting to allow more space for alignment, it can be interceptive, correcting issues that appear early on, to facilitate things later, and it can be corrective when most permanent teeth are present, to finalize ideal alignment.
The use of technology to help obtain patient records for diagnosis and treatment planning has greatly evolved in the last 10 years. Digital x-rays, intra-oral scanners and special software to predict treatment outcomes are some of the technology resources we use to add comfort, treatment visualization and streamline patient experience in our office.
